Autism & ADHD Diagnostic Assessments

Our specialist multidisciplinary team, including our Psychologist, Developmental Educator, and Occupational Therapist, is dedicated to providing comprehensive and neurodiversity-affirming diagnostic assessments for Autism and ADHD. Our approach ensures compliance with NDIS guidelines, facilitating our clients' access to essential NDIS services.

For Autism assessments, we use evidence-based tools, such as the MIGDAS, that respect and understand each individual’s unique sensory, communication, and emotional needs. Our team is committed to creating a safe, affirming environment where individuals and families feel supported throughout the diagnostic process.

In our ADHD diagnostic assessments, we use a range of reliable tools, including the Conners Comprehensive Behavior Rating Scales, clinical interviews, and behavioural observations, to ensure an accurate and thorough evaluation. Our goal is to provide a clear diagnosis and personalised recommendations that reflect the individual's strengths and challenges, supporting them in achieving their goals.

At Jardin Spectrum Assist, we prioritise creating a respectful, inclusive space where everyone feels understood and valued throughout their diagnostic journey. Our team’s expertise and collaborative approach ensure that each assessment is tailored to the individual's unique needs and life context.

NDIS Assessments & Reports

We offer a range of comprehensive assessments designed to meet NDIS requirements and support your journey toward greater independence, well-being, and quality of life. Our team is committed to delivering person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming assessments that reflect your unique strengths and needs.

Functional Capacity Assessments

Our experienced clinicians conduct Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) to evaluate your overall ability to perform daily activities and determine your support needs under the NDIS. This holistic assessment covers areas such as mobility, communication, self-care, social interaction, and ability to manage tasks at home and in the community. We look at your physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning, identifying any barriers to independence.

FCAs are essential for NDIS Plan Reviews, Changes of Circumstances, or Declines in Functioning. The assessment includes interviews, observations, and standardised tools to capture a comprehensive picture of your strengths and challenges. Based on this, we develop recommendations to ensure you receive the necessary supports to enhance your participation and well-being. Our approach ensures that the assessment process is respectful and affirming of your individuality.

Total Cost: FCAs billed at 15 hours at $193.99 per hour, for a total of $2,909.85.

Supported Independent Living Assessments

Our team provides thorough Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments to evaluate your capacity to live independently and determine the level of support required. This assessment looks at your ability to manage daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and household management. We also assess your ability to engage with the community, maintain relationships, and manage your health and safety in an independent living setting.

During the SIL assessment, we work with you to understand your personal goals, preferences, and living environment, creating recommendations for the most suitable living arrangements that promote your autonomy. This may include identifying suitable housing, staffing needs, and assistive technologies that enhance independence. Our goal is to help you achieve a meaningful and fulfilling life, in the most independent setting possible, while ensuring you have the right supports in place.

Total Cost: SILs billed at 20 hours at $193.99 per hour, for a total of $3,879.80.

Nursing Continence Assessments

Our qualified Clinical Nurse Consultant conducts comprehensive Nursing Continence Assessments to evaluate your continence needs and determine the supports required to manage them effectively. This assessment includes a detailed review of your medical history, bladder and bowel habits, lifestyle factors, and any relevant health conditions. We also assess functional abilities, including mobility and dexterity, which may impact continence management.

The assessment may include physical evaluations, continence product recommendations, dietary and fluid intake analysis, and strategies to improve or maintain continence. Based on this assessment, we create a tailored continence care plan that supports your independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Our approach is person-centred and sensitive to your comfort, ensuring that you feel respected and supported throughout the process.

Total Cost: NCAs billed at 6 hours at $163.91 per hour, for a total of $983.46.

Funding Recommendation Letters

Our clinicians prepare Funding Recommendation Letters that are tailored to support your NDIS plan applications and reviews. These letters are developed based on detailed assessments that thoroughly document your needs across areas such as mobility, communication, daily living skills, and any additional supports required to meet your goals.

Each letter is designed to clearly articulate the types of supports and services you need, providing strong evidence to justify funding. Our team ensures that these letters are aligned with NDIS criteria, reflecting both your immediate needs and long-term goals for independence, participation, and quality of life. This documentation plays a key role in ensuring that you receive the appropriate level of support to improve your overall well-being.

Total Cost: FRLs billed at 4 hours at $193.99 per hour, for a total of $775.96.

Through tailored one-on-one and group sessions, our Developmental Educator works with clients to address key areas such as emotional regulation, social understanding, and practical life skills.

We use a neurodiversity-affirming approach that respects and celebrates each person’s unique strengths and preferences. Our DE therapies focus on creating supportive, person-centred strategies that help individuals navigate challenges while empowering them to achieve their personal goals.

Our services aim to:

  • Enhance social understanding and communication

  • Support the development of practical, everyday skills

  • Promote independence and self-advocacy in daily life

As NDIS-approved therapists, our DE services are billed under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living, providing clients with the tools to improve their quality of life and actively participate in their communities.

Occupational Therapies

Our Occupational Therapy services are focused on enhancing daily living skills and promoting independence for neurodivergent individuals. Our goal is to support clients in developing the practical skills they need to participate fully in everyday activities, whether at home, school, work, or within the community. By focusing on each individual’s strengths, we empower clients to overcome challenges and build confidence in their abilities.

Using a neurodiversity-affirming approach, we ensure that all interventions are respectful and aligned with each person’s needs and preferences. Our Occupational Therapist collaborates closely with clients and their families to create strategies that improve quality of life and promote meaningful participation in all aspects of life.
